Introduction to the JALC College and Career Readiness Community

Logging Into the Site

Right now, we are creating accounts upon request. After you have an account, simply left-click the word "Login" anywhere on the main page. You will be presented with a page where you can type in the username and password you were given. You can then enter the JALC Readiness Community.

Navigating the Community

After entering the JALC Readiness Community, you will see the main content right in the middle of the page. Supplemental information such as a list of participants, a calendar, a list of recent activity, and a calendar can be found in blocks on the left and right-hand side of the page.

Editing Your Profile

Once you are logged into the community, you clan left-click your name to see reports of what you have been doing and to edit your profile. Your profile contains information about yourself and gives you a chance to upload a picture of yourself.

Adding a Forum Post

The main form of communication in the community will be through forum posts. Discussions can be started and grown in inside of different forums inside the community.
